We have added traffic cameras as a new risk data source. You can now view live and historic CCTV footage in cities around the world.

Major updates

Traffic Cameras

  • We have added traffic cameras as a new risk data source. You can now view live and historic CCTV footage in cities around the world. To access this risk layer, simply toggle on ‘cameras’ under the ‘infrastructure and utilities’ map layer in the left-hand layer panel.
  • This is useful for assessing the severity of extreme weather events as they unfold or viewing the impact of transportation incidents on congestion or road closures.

Global Risk Alerts

  • We have changed the rules in the Alert Manager to allow you to see risk alerts around the world, not just those in proximity to your assets.
  • This is useful for clients to see real-time alerts around the world to get a more holistic view of unfolding global events, not just those that are close to their physical locations.

Remote Employee Locations

  • We have added new features for keeping remote workers safe. You can now upload remote workers’ home addresses as asset locations to monitor in the platform. Privacy can be maintained using approximate locations such as zip/postcodes.
  • Many clients still have a remote workforce for the foreseeable future. This helps ensure employers’ duty of care to their remote employees.

New Features

  • We simplified collaboration. You can now share specific risk events and asset locations with the card URLs. These URLs will open the card at the correct geographic location on the map. This allows for faster collaboration between security analysts.
  • You can now visualise any asset location on the map by clicking on a row within the impact dashboard. The impact dashboard is the chart of all your assets’ information. This feature will increase the speed and efficiency of assessing the security situation near specific assets.
  • We have created a new menu for simpler event card selection. When selecting an event card from a location where there are several overlapping polygons, there is a new mini menu that allows you to select the specific event card that you would like. This feature will increase the speed and efficiency of focusing on particular security incidents of interest.

Improvements

  • We have reduced the time it takes to load assets onto a map. This is now 15 times quicker than it was previously.
  • We have added a button to make going back in time easier. When selecting older events from the alert newsfeed or from a shared URL, there is now a button on the event card which gives you an option to jump to that point in time on the map.
  • When setting up a specific saved view, there is now a toggle for “save with time.” If you tick this box while saving a view, then when loading the saved view, you will be taken to the point in time on the map when you saved that view. This is useful for creating briefings on historical events.
